Alya Kanıbelli (b. 1999) is a multimedia producer, project manager and an editorial curator from Istanbul, currently based in London.

Kanıbelli began interviewed and photographed luminaries of contemporary art, music and cinema during her time as an editor-at-large at GQ Magazine. Her writings and photographs have been published in Bricks Magazine, GQ, Marie Clarie, where she then took her editorial endeavors forward into a curatorial practice by publishing her first digital zine, Karantina Project.

Gaining proven production experience in television, radio and podcasts through working across various arts and culture platforms, she now works with a graphic design agency as a Project Manager, while facilitating BFI Film Academy’s Documentary Filmmaking Residentials as a Freelancer.

Kanibelli has a Bachelors Degree in History, Politics and Economics from UCL. She incorporates her multidisciplinary approach to her practice, by creating multimedia projects such as immersive exhibitions, programme curations and creative partnerships. Her passion resides in bringing creative communities together, while sparking transdisciplinary narratives on future.
